Our story
A family grocer in the heart of Pennsylvania.
MFK Foods is a small, independent business owned and run by the Lokomski family. We started with one truck, a list of farms and a stubborn belief that grocery shopping should feel personal again.

The founder
Thomas Lokomski
Thomas grew up on a small dairy farm outside Pittsburgh. After fifteen years in logistics and food distribution, he left his corporate job in 2019 to build the kind of grocery business he wished existed for his own family — small enough to know every farmer by name, big enough to ship across the country.
Today, Thomas still drives the routes, visits the orchards each season, and signs off on every new partner farm personally.
Our values
What we stand for.
Traceability
Every product carries the name of the farm it came from. No anonymous warehouses, no mystery middlemen.
Fair partnerships
We pay our farmers above market rate and lock in seasonal contracts that protect both sides from price swings.
Honest packaging
We use recyclable kraft and compostable insulation. No styrofoam, no plastic clamshells when we can avoid them.
Smaller batches
We'd rather sell out of something great than warehouse something average. Many products are seasonal on purpose.
Local first
Whenever something can be grown within 250 miles of Baden, that's where we source it from first.
Real customer service
An actual person answers the phone and the email — Monday through Saturday, no scripts.
